DiLiLab aims to co-create solutions with stakeholders from UTCN to improve the students and staff experience in our organisation.
One goal is to promote digital innovation through small projects and experimental approaches. Calls for innovation projects can also take place during the year. Particular interest will be given to spin-off activities, through the DiLilab. This living lab aims to bring together innovators to engage in spin-off activities related to digitalization at UTCN. The lab will benefit from the UTCN ecosystem supporting entrepreneurship: Societatea Antreprenoriala Studenteasca (SAS), Unitech Foundation, EUt+ Incubation Program or our consolidated collaborations with Transilvania Digital Innovation Hub or DIH4Society.
The spin-offs can collaborate with the university to develop digital solutions for specific challenges within UTCN:
- (i) develops and tests innovative teaching methods,
- (ii) tests digital solutions for university sustainability,
- (iii) integrating digital tools like AI into teaching and learning at UTCN,
- (iv) smart campus solutions like real-time energy monitoring, waste management, and interactive student platforms,
- (v) integrates IoT sensors, smart lighting, and wayfinding apps to enhance students’ daily experiences on campus;
- (vi) student well-being by co-creating digital tools such as mental health apps, peer support platforms, and AI chatbots for mental health counseling.
